:something to ponder:

i don’t really talk politics much here. i try to stay away from all the annoying political rhetoric and banter, especially during this momentous election year.

but this morning i saw this video clip and was moved, not pleasantly, to tears.

regardless of your political affiliation, views on the war, healthcare, guns and the like, this video strikes a human chord. not only did it make me sad, but scared…scared because we are becoming a nation that simply doesn’t respect humanity and the uniqueness that lies therein.

it challenges me to love all the more, just like the girl in the video.
